Ivana Guljašević
She graduated from the Arts Academy in Zagreb. From 2000 works in film. She is the author and director of the film LIKE A MIRACLE that had received the best film prize at the festival FIKE in Portugal in the five-minute category and a special jury mention at the 14th Fano Film Festival. She is the director of four promotion films for Školska knjiga, the largest publishing house in Croatia (HOW CROCODILE MARKO FOUND HIS HOME, A DRAWING UNDER THE CHRISTMAS TREE, THE FLYING PIANO AND THE MOON RAFT). She is the illustrator and animator of the very successful series DANICA AND FRIENDS (so far 100 episodes aired) on Croatian Television, sold in about 30 countries. She is currently at work on two animated films, THE HOUSE ABOVE THE MONSTER, with script by S. Lovrenčić, and THE SEARCH written by B. Kuman. She is the author and director of 6 short educational and promotion films for the CDs released with Smib. She is also the author and director of the CDs accompanying several course books for social sciences, computer science and English. Besides working on films, she illustrates books, picture books, course books and magazines. She is also the author of several comic strips published in children's magazines. She has written and illustrated two picture books, The Sockeater and How Crocodile Marko Found His Home, which have earned her several prizes and citations.
