Uwe Heidschötter
In 1995, Uwe Heidschötter began his education in design at “Schule für Gestaltung”, Cologne. He graduated from “Lycée Technique des Arts et Métiers”, Luxembourg, where he studied classical animation. Several years he worked as CGI character animator for Ambient Entertainment in Hanover. Today, Uwe is a freelance character designer and illustrator located in Berlin. His artwork can be seen in his selfpublished book Augenblick, Ashley Woods Swallow books 3 and 5 and on his blog: heidschoetter.blogspot.com. THE LITTLE BOY AND THE BEAST is Uwe Heidschötter’s debut as director.

Uwe Heidschötter
Nel 1995, Uwe Heidschötter ha iniziato la sua formazione in disegno alla “Schule für Gestaltung” di Colonia, in Germania. Si è diplomato in Animazione Classica al “Lycée Technique des Arts et Métiers”, in Lussemburgo. Per diversi anni ha lavorato come animatore di personaggi CGI per la Ambient Entertainment di Hannover. Oggi, Uwe è designer di personaggi e illustratore freelance, e opera a Berlino. I suoi lavori possono essere ammirati nel libro da lui autoprodotto Augenblick, nei magazine Swallow 3 e Swallow 5 di Ashley Woods e sul suo blog: heidschoetter.blogspot.com. THE LITTLE BOY AND THE BEAST segna il debutto di Uwe alla regia.

Johannes Weiland
Born 1977 in Freiburg, Germany, Johannes Weiland began his studies at Ludwigsburg’s Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 1998, where he’s currently teaching animation classes. Since his graduation 2003 he worked as Director/Animator at Studio Soi Ludwigsburg, Germany and Studioaka, London. During the years he directed a number of award winning short films, among which DANACH (1999), HESSI JAMES (2000), ANNIE & BOO (2003) and OLI’S CHANCE (2005), both these two short films were presented at the Giffoni Film Festival (2004 and 2005).

Johannes Weiland
Nato nel 1977 a Friburgo, in Germania, Johannes Weiland ha iniziato i suoi studi nel 1998 presso la Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg a Ludwigsburg, dove attualmente è docente di animazione. Dopo essersi laureato nel 2003, lavora come regista e animatore presso lo Studio Soi di Ludwigsburg e lo Studioaka di Londra. Nel corso degli anni ha diretto diversi cortometraggi premiati in vari festival. Tra i suoi film: DANACH (1999), HESSI JAMES (2000), ANNIE & BOO (2003) e OLI CHANCE (2005), questi ultimi due presentati al Giffoni Film Festival, rispettivamente nel 2004 e nel 2005.
