Gianluca Santoni
Born in 1991 in Fermo (Italy), he raised between Monte Urano and Porto San Giorgio, two small towns. In 2010 he leaves the province to move to Rome, where he attended some director's courses, and worked as second assistant director for web series, tv commercials, short movies. In these years, he develops the passion for the ”depiction of reality cinema”, influenced by italians and foreigners directos. From 2013 to 2015 he attended the Experimental Centre of Cinematography in Rome. In this period the directed the social commercial CON IL CIBO NON SI SCHERZA produced for EXPO 2015 and the segment ANGELA AND AMIRA in the documentary WE ARE HERE, some music videos and four short films, among which DUALE (presented in Giffoni 2016), and his graduation film JONATHAN WITH G. He is currently working on the draft of a feature film based on his graduation film.
