jurors from Albania, Australia, Belarus, Germany, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Macedonia, Palestine, South Korea, Spain and USA for the 34th GFF annual.

"Machuca" and "The Chorus" competing in Free to Fly will both be nominated for an Oscar for Best foreign film. Catalina Sandino Moreno, leading player in "Maria Full of Grace" (Y Gen), will be nominated for best  leading actress.
"Ella Enchanted", "Garfield: The Movie" and "Home on the Range" are premiered in Giffoni. 

DAVID CARRADINE is the main star from overseas. Maestro KEN LOACH plus obviously Italian actors and authors contribute to make this annual special once again: MICHELE PLACIDO, EMANUELE CRIALESE, LUCA ZINGARETTI, ENRICO VANZINA, MARIA GRAZIA CUCINOTTA, FRANCESCO APOLLONI, CHRISTIAN DE SICA, ETTORE BASSI, ANNA FALCHI, PIETRO TARICONE, VALERIA MARINI, IRENE FERRI, PAOLO CONTICINI, CARLO CONTI, VANESSA GRAVINA, comedians FABIO DE LUIGI, DADO and MAX TORTORA, and producer DOMENICO PROCACCI.

Istitutional guests:: MPs Maurizio Gasparri and Nicola Bono, Walter Veltroni (who as Mayor of Rome presents a special project against racism carried out by Roman students and supported by the Town Hall),  Antonio Bassolino, President of Campania region and regional Councillors Teresa Armato and Vincenzo Aita, the mayor of Napoli Rosa Russo Iervolino.

Gianpaolo Brusini and Andrea Muccioli, representatives of San Patrignano (community that helps drug addicts), come to talk with the Y-Gen Jurors, together with Don't Kill Your Brain, and Maurizio Scelli from the Italian Red Cross.

Keisha Castle Hughes ("Whale Rider") wins the Explosive Talent Award.

The night shows at the arena are hosted by Mariolina Simone (COMING SOON), Manlio K Castagna (GFF) and Luca Apolito (GFF).

Giffoni Music Concept is hosted by Pippo Pelo and Simona Bencini. The GMC arranges  daily meetings,  POW WOW, in which children and youth talk about music and how it is changing with huge Italian music stars: VELVET, PACIFICO, MAX GAZZÈ, NADA, CAPONE e BUNGT BANGT, RAIZ, RAF, LE VIBRAZIONI, PUPO, DANIELE SILVESTRI, FRANKIE HI-NRG, JOHN PARISH.

The Orange Garden turns into Kids in Wonderland where 8 children theatre shows are presented.

The San Francesco monastery hosts photogaphic  exhibitons - by Mauro Galligani; Merci François by Alfonso Tateo and Domenico Celentano about Truffaut's visit to Giffoni and a photographic exhibition of pictures taken by Alfonso Tortorelli to South African children.

GFF also focuses on social issue campaigns such as On the Road Movie (about road safety in collaboration with the Infrastructures Office), Don't Kill Your Brain (against drug addiction together with the Education Office plus numerous onlus charity associations), GnamFest (for a healthy diet with Agricultural councillor's office of Campania Region), Telefono Azzurro (presentation of a new number) and CIAL (to learn how to recycle to save our planet).

At GFF 2004 Steven Paul from the American Crystal Sky signs a deal with GFF to create a youth Festival in Hollywood.

Director Mario Andreacchio from Australia, also, shows interest for a possible future collaboration to make a youth Festival in Australia.
