Synopsis
Giuseppe Di Matteo - son of the informer Sabatino - was kidnapped in Sicily in 93 and held captive for days before being brutally liquefied in acid. In Sicilian Ghost Story, reality mixes with imagination, and the love between Giuseppe and Luna tries to overcome the code of silence and be stronger than it. A pure and alive feeling that does not surrender to the absence and sudden disappearance of Giuseppe. It tries to find justice and challenges mystery and death.

Fabio Grassadonia (Palermo, 1968) and Antonio Piazza (Milano, 1970) are both director and screenplay writers. They made their debut in 2013 with SALVO. The film was critically acclaimed both domestically and Abroad, winning two awards at the Cannes Film festival: GrandPrix and PrixRévélation. They have also won the Sundance Institute Global Filmmaking Award 2016 for the screenplay of SICILIAN GHOST STORY.
