Nicolas Vanier
Born 1962, Dakar (Senegal). He is a director, actor, writer and traveller. He is famous for his expeditions through Siberia, Lapland, the Greath Nord Canadian, the Yukon, the Rockies, Alaska. He covered his journeys in several books, photographic services, articles, and documentaries such as IN THE NORTH OF THE WINTER (AU NORD DE L’HIVER, 1991), THE CHILD OF THE SNOW (L’ENFANT DES NEIGES, 1995), THE WHITE ODYSSEE (L’ODYSSÉE BLANCHE, 1999), SIBERIAN ODYSSEY (L’ODYSSÉE SIBÉRIENNE, 2006). In 2004 he directed his first feature fiction film, THE LAST TRAPPER (LE DERNIER TRAPPEUR), followed by LOUP (2009).
