TEDDY HALKIER KRISTIANSEN
Teddy was born in 1964. He has been working with films for the last 30 years doing storyboard and design. "Hugo & Holger" is based on a series of children’s books he also illustrated and it is his first short film as both designer and director. Teddy has also created a lot of comic books and children’s picture books and has worked on writer Neil Gaiman’s "The Sandman" series. In 2005, Teddy Kristiansen won the prestigious Eisner Award for Best Comics Painter for his work on the Superman Graphic Novel "It’s a Bird" (written by ManOfAction Steven T. Seagle). In 2019, he won the Blixen Award as the best children's publication for children, for his book "Bezunk and the Squirrel".
