MATILDE'S FIRST DAY

Synopsis
Today is Matilde’s first day of school. Her father Claudio had to take her to school but he hasn't come. So, her grandfather decides to walk Matilde to school. Finally, Claudio joins them to talk with her little daughter, giving her some advices to face this important day.

Rosario Capozzolo (1984, Macerata, Italy) is an Italian physician, director and screenwriter. He wrote and directed three short films, videos, documentaries and commercials. While he was studying Medicine and Surgery in Bologna, he discovered the world of cinema, working as production assistant and assistant director on some independent cinema sets in Rome and Bologna. He graduated in 2010 and then he moved to Rome where he attended the “Tracce” School of Cinema to improve his skills as screenwriter and film director. In 2017, he shot in Los Angeles the short film "Peggie". The film won 33 awards in Italian and international festivals. Currently, he is writing his first feature film.
