GHOLAM REZA RAMEZANI
Born in 1960 in Arak, he began his professional career as an assistant director. He was the assistant director in Amir Nader "The Runner". Before making his first feature film in 1992, he had made two TV series and 15 short films. So far, he has directed 10 feature films. He has been active in national and international film festivals as jury and selection committee member.

Director's statement
"The climax of friendship is displayed in KNOCKOUT. There is no bad friend or negative, mean and bad natured person in the film. People go through changes in the circle of each other’s behavior. Sport is so powerful that it can conquer all the hardships. Friendship can show children a better way of life. For a good friend one must do anything they can".
