Julia Ocker
Julia is an animation director, designer and writer based in Stuttgart. She was born in 1982 in Pforzheim, Germany and grew up in the Black Forrest. From 2003 to 2005 she studied Graphic Design in Pforzheim and from 2006 to 2012 Animation at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. During her studies at Filmakademie she experimented with a completely different style and a different animation technique for each film because she subordinates everything to her stories and to convey them in the best way possible. Her films cover a wide range of subjects, from her dark and frightening drama KELLERKIND to the ingeniously funny ZEBRA (selected in Giffoni 2015). CROCODILE is part of the TV series „Animanimals“ that Julia is developing for Studio Film Bilder.
