Nuccio, Gerardo, Frida and Adelmo are four teenagers who live in discoveries in the alleys of their village, Oliveto Citra, at the foot of the Picentini mountains, just above the spacious and green valley of the Sele. A small village surrounded by great landscapes: countryside, woods and the valleys of the Picentini mountains, and the Sele river that washes the area. Summer is approaching, the heat in the valley of Sele is felt, and the four kids go down to the banks of the river to begin to go up the dives custom, that all always respect there. On the bank of the river, they meet Macario, a wise old fisherman who teaches them the secrets of the valley and the river course, from the Sanità sources to Caposele, until its mouth, in the Tyrrhenian Sea, near Paestum. The four youngsters, driven by their curiosity, will discover the places of the Sele and themselves in a lively, playful and also difficult journey of initiation.
