Ute von Münchow-Pohl
Born 1958, Bremen (Germany). She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Münster. From 1987 to 1990 she worked for the production company Hahn-Film GmbH, where she animated the TV series BENJAMIN BLÜMCHEN and the feature film WERNER - BEINHART! (1990). In 1991 she animated the feature film AN AMERICAN TAIL: FIEVEL GOES WEST. Then she worked until 2001 for the TFC Trickompany, where she animated the TV series DIE OTTIFANTEN (1993) and the feature films THE LITTLE PUNK (DER KLEENE PUNKER, 1992), FELIDAE (1994), WERNER - EAT MY DUST!!! (WERNER - DAS MUSS KESSELN!!!, 1996), PIPI LANGSTRUMPF (1998). Besides she animated the feature films TOBIAS AND HIS LION (TOBIAS TOTZ UND SEIN LÖWE, 1999) and LAURA’S STAR (LAURAS STERN, 2004). In 2001 she made her debut as a director with the animated feature film KOMMANDO STÖRTEBECKER, followed by KLEINER DODO (2008), LAURA’S STAR AND THE DREAM MONSTERS (LAURAS STERN UND DIE TRAUMMONSTER, 2011, screened at the GEX 2012), RAVEN THE LITTLE RASCAL (DER KLEINE RABE SOCKE, 2012).

Sandor Jesse
Born 1953, Hungary. After studying History, he began working as an animator for Pannonia Filmstudios. In 1985 he moved to Germany and has been active as a director and animator for several production companies. He animated the TV series MASTER EDER AND HIS PUMUCKL (MEISTER EDER UND SEIN PUMUCKL) and JANOSCHS TRAUMSTUNDE, and the feature film CAT CITY (MACSKAFOGÓ, 1986). He directed the short films DAS LIEBESLEBEN DER TIERE (1986), THE STEADFAST TIN SOLDIER (DER STANDHAFTE ZINNSOLDAT, 1989), AUFSTAND DER TIERE (1994), DIE ALLERTOLLSTEN (2004), DIE GESCHICHTE VON ELSIE (2005), GOOD NIGHT, GORILLA (GUTE NACHT, GORILLA, 2007); the TV series GOETHE MINIATURES (GOETHE MINIATUREN, 1999) and MACIUS (2000/2003); the feature films LITTLE KING MACIUS (DER KLEINE KÖNIG MACIUS, 2007, screened at GFF 2008) and RAVEN THE LITTLE RASCAL (DER KLEINE RABE SOCKE, 2012).
