Synopsis
At PROM, every couple has a story and no two are exactly alike. Several intersecting stories unfold at one high school as the big dance approaches. PROM portrays the precarious passage from high school to independence as some relationships unravel and others ignite. For Nova Prescott, it’s a battle of wills as she finds herself drawn to Jesse Richter, the guy who gets in the way of her perfect prom. Meanwhile, the students face all the insecurity and anticipation that surrounds one of high school’s most seminal events. There are hundreds of nights in high school, but there‘s only one PROM.

Nel film PROM, ogni coppia ha una storia, e ogni storia è diversa dalle altre, unica e irripetibile. Tutte queste storie si intrecciano in un liceo, e intanto si avvicina il grande evento, il Prom, il ballo di fine anno. PROM racconta il delicato passaggio dal liceo all’indipendenza, mentre alcune relazioni finiscono e altre sbocciano. Una delle studentesse, Nova Prescott, è pronta a organizzare un ballo perfetto, ma sulla sua strada trova il ribelle della scuola, Jesse Richter, che vede il ballo di fine anno con uno spirito molto diverso da quello della ragazza. Nel frattempo, gli studenti affrontano l’agitazione e la trepidante attesa che circonda uno degli eventi più importanti della vita scolastica. Ci sono centinaia di notti al liceo, ma c’è un solo PROM.
