Dace Rīdūze
Born in 1973 in Latvia. She attended the School for Further Education in Graphic Design from 1988-92. From 1996-2001 she studied at Riga College of Teaching, graduating as a teacher of drama and art. She joined the film studio Animacijas Brigade as an illustrator of animation films in 1997. In 2003 she directed the short film JĀŅTĀRPIŅŠ (FIREFLY) screened in several festival among which the Giffoni Film Festival.
Dace Rīdūze
È nata nel 1973 in Lettonia, dove ha frequentato la Scuola d’Istruzione Superiore in Graphic Design dal 1988 al 1992. Dal 1996 al 2001 ha studiato al College per l’Insegnamento di Riga, diplomandosi come insegnante di teatro e di arte. Nel 1997 è entrata al film studio “Animacijas Brigade” come illustratrice di film d'animazione e nel 2003 ha diretto il cortometraggio FIREFLY (JĀŅTĀRPIŅŠ), presentato in numerosi festival, tra cui il Giffoni Film Festival.
