Vítor Lopes
He was born in 1963 in Estarreja (Portugal). He studied Audiovisual Communication Technologies. Director of several animation short films, he was awarded in some Festivals, namely in Australia, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, United Kingdom and Portugal. He works at Cine-Clube of Avanca Animation Studios, with a large experience in animation TV series (ALFREDO, ZÉ AND THE PENGUIN, LET'S GO SINGING, TORTOISE WALK STORIES), as animator and director. Along with Carlos Silva and Costa Valente, he directed the first Portuguese feature animation film TO THE TOP OF THE WORLD.

Regista di numerosi cortometraggi d’animazione, è stato premiato in diversi festival, in Australia, Repubblica Ceca, Grecia, Italia, Regno Unito, Portogallo. Lavora ai Cine-Clube of Avanca Animation Studios, e ha una grande esperienza come animatore e regista di serie tv animate (ALFREDO, ZÉ AND THE PENGUIN, LET'S GO SINGING, TORTOISE WALK STORIES). Insieme a Carlos Costa e Silva Valente, ha diretto il primo lungometraggio d’animazione portoghese, TO THE TOP OF THE WORLD.
