JUST SO STORIES, told in many episodes, revisits the world’s creation in a funny, tender and poetic way, and tells of the “time of very beginnings” when nothing was fixed or finite. This film is an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s famous “Just So Stories”, with a French narration by Daniel Pennac.



JUST SO STORIES, diviso in vari episodi, rivisita la creazione del mondo in modo divertente, dolce e poetico, e racconta gli “albori del tempo”, quando niente era finito. Adattamento delle famose JUST SO STORIES di Rudyard Kipling, narrate da Daniel Pennac.

Born in 1956, from 1971 to 1979 he studied graphics at the CET in Paris before studying animation at CFT Gobelins. In 1979 he worked for the Hanna-Barbera studios in Los Angeles as an animator and storyboard artist on TV series. As director he won various prizes for EUGENIO, including the Silver Pulcinella, for the best TV film (Positano, Italy 1999) and THE KING OF THE CLOUD FOREST, which won the prize for Best TV film at Annecy and Auch 2003. He has storyboarded for many series and helped on the animation for features like ROCK-A-DOODLE and ASTERIX IN BRITAIN. In 2000 he was involved in the graphic research for PINOCCHIO, in 2000, and worked on personal film projects.


Jean-Jacques Prunès
Nato nel 1956, dal 1971 al 1979 ha studiato grafica al CET di Parigi, prima di studiare animazione alla Scuola Gobelins. Nel 1979 ha lavorato per gli studi Hanna-Barbera di Los Angeles come animatore e creatore di storyboard per diverse serie televisive. Come regista ha vinto vari premi per EUGENIO, incluso il Pulcinella d’argento come miglior film per la tv (Positano 1999), e THE KING THE CLOUD FOREST, che ha ricevuto il premio come miglior film per la tv a Annecy e Auch nel 2003. Ha lavorato allo storyboard di molte serie e ha collaborato all’animazione di lungometraggi come EDDIE E LA BANDA DEL SOLE LUMINOSO e ASTERIX E LA POZIONE MAGICA. Nel 2000 è stato coinvolto nella ricerca grafica per PINOCCHIO.
