Synopsis

Max is a very shy boy who believes that his mother, Agnethe, an original and charming type of mother, is 'max' embarrassing. She seems not to understand that Max is growing up and keeps saying the most stupid things that make him shiver. At the same time Max has totally fallen for Ophelia, a beautiful girl in his class, whom he would like to impress. But it's all very difficult, when you really wish to be among the cool guys in school and to be a good friend at the same time. Christmas is coming. Max and his mother guest an ex-con for holidays. The man is Ophelia’s lost father so, hoping to fulfil a girl’s secret wish, Max takes him to school. The girl is shocked, Max is desperate: he can loose forever Ophelia’s friendship. Fortunately he has a good friend, Hassan, and his wonderful, embarrassing mother.

Sinossi

Max è un ragazzo molto timido che crede che sua madre, Agnethe, un tipo di madre decisamente originale e affascinante, sia super-imbarazzante. Agnethe sembra non comprendere che Max sta crescendo, e continua a dire stupidaggini che lo fanno rabbrividire. Allo stesso tempo Max è follemente innamorato di Ophelia, una bella compagna di classe, e vorrebbe tanto attirare la sua attenzione. Ma è davvero difficile riuscire a far parte del gruppo di ragazzi più cool della classe e, al contempo, essere un buon amico. Nel frattempo si avvicina il Natale. Max e sua madre ospitano un ex galeotto per le vacanze. L’uomo è in realtà il padre di Ophelia, che lei non vede da tempo. Sperando di realizzare un suo segreto desiderio, Max porta l’uomo a scuola. Ophelia ne rimane scioccata, Max è disperato: può perdere per sempre l’amicizia della compagna. Fortunatamente ha un buon amico, Hassan, e la sua meravigliosa, imbarazzante madre.
