Giuseppe Carrisi
Rai Journalist, writer and documentarist, he collaborated with Radio Vaticana and, from 1992 to 1998, and he was correspondent for the magazine "Gente". He made several reportages from war zones, such as Sierra Leone, Uganda, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Palestine. Since many years he has been actively collaborating to the implementation of humanitarian projects in Africa, and he is President of the onlus “Pizzicarms”. In 2006 he published the book "Kalami Goes to the War - Children Soldiers" (translated also in Polish), on which was based the stage show "Dark Heart". In 2008 he directed the documentary KIDOGÒ - A CHILD SOLDIER, presented at the Giffoni Film Festival. Giuseppe is the author of the essay "Everything You Must Know About Africa and That No One Ever Told You" (maggio 2009), dedicated to the plagues that afflict the Dark Continent.

Nel 2006 ha pubblicato il libro "Kalami va alla guerra - I bambini soldato" (tradotto anche in lingua polacca), da cui è stato tratto lo spettacolo teatrale "Cuore buio". Nel 2008 ha realizzato il documentario KIDOGÒ - UN BAMBINO SOLDATO, presentato al Giffoni Film Festival. È autore del saggio "Tutto quello che dovresti sapere sull’Africa e che nessuno ti ha mai raccontato" (maggio 2009), dedicato alle piaghe che affliggono il Continente Nero.
