Director’s statement

“I read ‘Evil’ in the mid 80s and wanted to make it into a TV series, but that didn’t come off. Hans Lönnerheden mulled over the project for several years and when it finally got the green light, I was both available and interested. EVIL is not just about action or suspense, the themes are universal – it’s about the search for freedom, about love and about growing up”.
