Synopsis
Three little sparrows want to chant their song, but are being constantly interrupted by a strange fellow, a big grey bird with a bagpackpropeller. The sparrows manage to get ride of him, and after an apparent happy-end song, the propellerbird is back again, but captivated by the now very determined singing sparrows, he joins their songs for a very short moment, flying and singing.

Jan Locher
He was born in 1981. After graduating, he attended the Further Education program at the IFS International Film School Cologne in Classical Animation. Currently he studies animation at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. He shot two other shorts before THE PROPELLERBIRD: TEATIME (2003) and COUNTDOWN (2004).
Thomas Hinke
He was born in 1978 in Pfullendorf (Germany). He studied animation and digital design at the private film school SAE in Berlin, and animation at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
