Ashvin Kumar began working as an actor and director in theatre. He took a degree in Media and Communications at the Goldsmith’s College, University of London, in 1996 and attended briefly the London Film School. He has worked as an editor and has directed commercials and music videos. In 2002 he wrote and directed a 48 minute film, ROAD TO LADAKH. With his second short LITTLE TERRORIST he won many prizes and he had a nomination for the European Academy Awards and for the Best Short Film Oscar.
