Synopsis

Summer. Hannah and Marie, two 13-year-old girls, are best friends. While the shy Hannah falls in love with Marco – a class-mate – Marie gets very ill. Hannah has to cope with the loss of her best friend – and has to take life into her own hands.

Julia Schwarz

Born in 1977 in Hamburg (Germany), from 1989 to 1991 she lived in Houston (USA). In 1996 she took a degree in Hamburg and then she moved to Munich where she worked as an assistant director for several production companies and attended the Munich Film and Television Academy. She directed three short films: NIGHT VIEWS (NACHTANSICHTEN, 1999), A PIECE OF SKY (EIN STÜCK HIMMEL, 2000), BUTTERFLIES (SCHMETTERLINGE, 2003).
