Synopsis
72 year old Karl returns to the place of his memories. When he was a young man during the 1944 war, he met an American soldier: an encounter that brought him face to face with his duty to kill. However, at the same time he also experienced feelings of humanity. Ever since then he has suffered deep desperation over his putative guilt…until today.
