Synopsis
France, 1996. On her thirteenth birthday, Sarah reads a letter written to her on the day of her birth by the Director François Truffaut, a friend of her now separated parents. In the letter Truffaut tells her to live her life to the full, making an appointment to meet her to celebrate her thirteenth birthday together. The Director cannot be present at the meeting as he died in 1984. If he was still alive, would Sarah’s life be different?
