Synopsis
Sasha, 10, lives in Perm in Russia. The mother is under a train and nobody tells him how it happened. The father, destroyed by the loss of his wife, works as a guard in a prison but begins to neglect the work. Sasha's only joy is her neighbor Natasha, in love with him. When the headmaster offers him the opportunity to move to an orphanage he agrees with hunger. There, from his file, he will find out what happened to his mother.
