Jacques Dorfmann, born December 2, 1945 in Toulouse, is a French film producer, scriptwriter and director.

He also began production in the late 1960s, notably by collaborating with his father on films such as The Armée des ombres and Le Cercle rouge by Jean-Pierre Melville. In 1972, he co-produced Maurice Pialat's "We Will not Aging Together"; in 1981, he enjoyed worldwide success with La Guerre du feu, directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud.
