ALBERT BARILLÉ
Albert Barillé (Warsaw, 14 February 1920) is a television producer, television writer, screenwriter and French cartoonist, founder of Procidis.
Of humble origins, Albert Barillé made several precarious jobs since he was young, since his parents could not finance his studies. His first job in the audiovisual field was the production and distribution of feature films in Latin America in the 1950s. He founded the production company that in the 60s he directed towards television production. The basic idea was to entertain the younger ones by infusing them at the same time with knowledge. He is the creator of the animated series Colargol, and of the Once Upon a Time series ..., produced by Procidis and become famous all over the world. In 1988 the television series We are made like this: the fabulous history of the human body won the prize, the 7th as the best program for children. Barillé was also an author of medical documentaries, theatrical scripts, and popular philosophy.
