Synopsis
Gaetano, a young Neapolitan, decides to leave home, work and friends, to look for other moments of life and meet other people. He arrives in Florence, at his aunt's house. In a clinic, where it happens by chance, she knows Marta and falls in love with her. After a series of funny situations (an old friend from unstoppable talk comes from Naples, the mature aunt and his elderly lover, a young American priest who wants to involve him in his evangelical visits, the meeting with Riccardino, a young man frustrated by an oppressive mother, the father waiting for the miracle of the regrowth of an amputated hand, etc.) Gaetano decides to stay in Florence and to act as a father to the son that Marta waits, even if the girl does not want to reveal exactly the name of her father.
