Rüdiger Nüchtern (born April 11, 1945 in Dietramszell) is a German film director.
After studying drama and German studies in 1968, he enrolled at the College of Television and Film (HFF) in Munich. In addition, Rüdiger Nüchtern turned music films. In 1970, he toured with a music group (Subject Esq., Later renamed Sahara) and his HFF thesis, "Come Baby" on tour. At the same time he became a founding member of the film publisher of the authors. Rüdiger Nüchtern shot short films and documentaries during this time. In the mid-1970s, Nüchtern, whose career is closely linked to the Bayerischer Rundfunk, conceived the eight-part series "Anschi and Michael" (books and directing) so skilfully that a little later, after a fortuitous performance at a festival, or cinema version was running.
After this success turned Rüdiger sober the TV three-part "Schluchtenflitzer" and took over in 1979 the development of scripts for the 13-part television series "A Mayer rarely comes alone".
