CHILDREN ENFANTS NIÑOS

Category: Edition 1980

Synopsis
Produced by Barrie Howells, the film, speechless, eloquently treats the joys and difficulties of being a child. It shows the everyday life of some children from all over the world: they go to get water in Thailand, which lead the herd to graze in Africa, who attend school or play hockey. A child who grows up in a country in Latin America leads a life completely different from one who lives in China. In some countries, schooling is compulsory, while in others children must work to survive, and there are countries in which they are abandoned along the streets and lead a precarious existence. So the way of life of children is different, but singing, pain, and laughter do not know frontiers. The film was made to be understood in every language.
