Synopsis
Eight-year-old Marcel promises his lone domestic rabbit a female for the evening. Alone, without a penny, he goes on a rabbit search: First, he wants to get the money for a purchase, but rabbits are expensive. A quirky painter advises him to look in the forest. Quite naturally, without fear, he hitchhikes the long way, meets with trust many funny friends, is a test of courage in the dark forest and finally sleeps in a country town, where he is promised a small rabbit.
