ALDO SCAVARDA
Aldo Scavarda (Turin, August 22, 1923) is a director of photography and Italian filmmaker, awarded in Berlin with Nastro d'Argento for best photography for the film Grazie aunt by Salvatore Samperi.
Director of photography and operator of great quality has linked his name to key post-war films such as The Adventure of Michelangelo Antonioni, Before the Revolution by Bernardo Bertolucci, The Commissioner of Luigi Comencini.
As director and screenwriter he directed The River Line with John Hurt, Riccardo Cucciolla, Philippe Leroy.
In addition to cinematographic activity, he has carried out an interesting activity as a photographer.
