VITO MOLINARI
Vito Molinari (Sestri Levante, 6 November 1929) is an Italian director.
Principally a television director, Molinari made her directorial debut on January 3, 1954 at the inaugural RAI program and later directed more than two thousand productions for Italian television including L'amico del giaguaro, La via del successo, Un due three and the 1962 edition of Canzonissima. All the related musics were by Maestro. Mario Bertolazzi.
He is also a theater director and he founded the University of Genoa Theater, together with Professor Della Corte.
For the Teatro Verdi (Trieste) in 1965 he directed Il pipistrello, in 1970 A white horse in the Teatro Stabile Politeama Rossetti with Tony Renis, Aldo Fabrizi and Sandro Massimini and in 1972 The Princess of Czarda with Adriana Innocenti and Elio Pandolfi. Also in 1972 he directed the production of La vedova allegra (operetta) with the choreography of Gino Landi with Massimini, Eno Mucchiutti and Carlo Campanini at PalaRuffini in Turin.
He has often worked with the Turin comedian Erminio Macario, directing him in his best television works: Macario uno e due (1975).
