Synopsis
The story of a little creature created by genetic experimentation and bound to prison with his evil creator. Stitch escapes and heads for Earth where he tries to impersonate a dog and gets adopted by little Lilo, whom, bent on self preservation, he plans to use as a human shield to protect him for the aliens sent to recapture him. But without a greater purpose in life, no friends, family or memories, Stitch does a little soul searching and begins to understand the meanings of "love" and "family" and his feeling for Lilo begin to change.

Christopher Michael "Chris" Sanders (born March 12, 1962) is an American animation director, film director, screenwriter, producer, illustrator and voice actor. He is best known for co-writing and directing Disney's LILO & STITCH (2002) and DreamWorks' HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON (2010), both of which he co-wrote and co-directed with Dean DeBlois, and for creating and voicing Stitch in Lilo & Stitch and every Western-produced work in its franchise. He also served as director and co-writer on THE CROODS, along with Kirk DeMicco.

He is best known for co-writing and co-directing the Oscar-nominated animated films LILO & STITCH for Walt Disney Feature Animation, HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON and its sequel for DreamWorks Animation, and directed the Sigur Rós documentary/music film HEIMA.
