HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION

Synopsis
In the new film by Sony Pictures Animation, Dracula decides to take a cruise with his family and finally take a summer break. The rest of the group joins them and, on board the cruise, the monsters enjoy themselves very much and participate in all the activities and attractions on board: from volleyball for monsters and colossal buffets, to unusual excursions. But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis discovers that Drac has fallen in love with Ericka, the mysterious captain of the ship, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy the race of monsters.

Tartakovsky was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. His family first moved to Italy before coming to the United States. After high school, Genndy studied film at Chicago's Columbia College before moving to Los Angeles to study animation at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
Working as producer and director on Cartoon Network he developed acclaimed series such as: THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, DEXTER'S LABORATORY, SAMURAI JACK, SYM-BIONIC TITAN. Tartakovsky was also hand-selected by George Lucas and Lucasfilm Ltd. in 2003 to create STAR WARS: CLONE WARS.
Tartakovsky made his feature film directorial debut in 2012 with HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA, produced by Sony Pictures Animation and Golden Globe nominated. He also directed HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 (2015), the short film PUPPY! (2017) and HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3: SUMMER VACATION.
A 20-year veteran of the art, Tartakovsky has received an impressive 15 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and been awarded three Emmys for work on the series STAR WARS: CLONE WARS and SAMURAI JACK. He also won the Winsor McCay Award in recognition for outstanding career contributions to the art of animation.
