BIOGRAPHY:

Annalisa Scarrone was born in Savona on 5th August 1985. Since she was a little girl she dreamt of becoming a singer, so she studied classical guitar and transverse flute and took singing lessons. She also started performing in clubs and was involved in a few independent projects, until 2010, when she was selected as a cast member of Amici di Maria De Filippi talent show and later awarded a Critics Award.

That’s how her music career began. In 2011 Annalisa released her debut album, Nali, which earned her a platinum disc. In 2012 she released the album Mentre tutto cambia and collaborated with some of the greatest Italian voices, such as Antonello Venditti and Claudio Baglioni. In 2013 she attended Sanremo Music Festival with the songs Scintille and Non so ballare, after which her third album is named.

She can also boast remarkable collaboration with cinema: the song Pirati, based on Ice Age 4: Continental Drift animated adventures, was released by Warner Music Italy as a single in the film home digital version, while Tutto sommato was included into Danish film Toscaanse Bruiloft soundtrack.

In 2015 she released her fourth studio album, Splende, produced by Kekko Silvestre from pop band Modà, who also wrote the first single taken from the album. This same year Annalisa went back to Sanremo Festival with the song Una finestra tra le stelle, and received MTV Awards multiple nominations for Artist Saga, Wonder Woman and MTV Awards Star.
