BIOGRAPHY:
Paolo Apolito, Lecturer of Cultural Anthropology at the University RomaTre, after a long experience in the University system the Professor has taken on a new adventure with a new twist and tweaked his profession. He has created a new role for himself “l’antropologo a domicilio/The Anthropologist at your home”, a kind of show which lasts about an hour. The professor presents his latest book Ritmi di Festa (Il Mulino, Bologna, 2014) by putting on a performance.
He has also written, Il Gioco del Festival. Il Romanzo del Giffoni Film Festival (published by L’Ancora del Mediterraneo, 2004): a kind of Festival novel, in which the protagonist is a man whose relatives moved to America from Giffoni in a distant past. He comes to Giffoni to see the festival unfold.
