Synopsis
Vincenzo is a young Calabrian man who lives in a little seaside town, Schiavonea, a receiving place for immigrants. Ayana is a young immigrant, temporarily hosted into the village fish market transformed into a reception center. One day Vincenzo goes to the market to buy some fresh seafood. The meeting with Ayana will change their lives forever.

Natalino Zangaro was born in 1990 in Cariati, Calabria. His passion for cinema led him to make his first videos with his father’s video camera. He studied at the “Falcone-Borsellino” Technical Institute where he also attended a theater workshop. In 2015, he enrolled at the Rome University of Fine Arts, earning a degree in Cinematography in 2018. During his studies, he directed the short films L’ANNIVERSARIO and GROUND FLOOR, with Sandra Ceccarelli and Daphne Scoccia, screened at the 2019 Giffoni Film Festival.
