ISABELLA SALVETTI
Writer and director, she was born in Rome, Italy, where she lives and works. In 1997 she graduated in Film Studies (MFA), at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with honors. In 1998, she moved to Los Angeles to attend the Master in Film Producing at the AFI. From 1998 to 1999 she worked for the Film Production Company “Peak Productions” as Development Intern. In 2003 she attended a Course in Film Directing and Screenwriting, tutored by Stephen Frears, at the National Film and Television Schoolin London. In 2009 she attended the R.A.I. Master in Screenwriting “Script”. She worked as Assistant Director, Production Manager and Assistant Director and directed five short films: BARKING, UN GESTO INNOCENTE, UNA PICCOLA FORTUNA, BUON NATALE and TWO LEFT FEET. The latter was screened and awarded in many national and international festivals, among which the 2015 Giffoni Film Festival.
