LA SCELTA

Category: Edition 2022

Seven young protagonists are prisoners of a strange game, weaved by an original “Munaciello” (a legendary spirite from the ancient folklore of Naples), which forces them to reflect on destiny and free will. Is it really possible to choose in one's life or has destiny already written our history and mapped our path? Legality, family ties and passions become the main themes of three intense episodes where the real life experiences of the young protagonists resonate in the words of different characters. Will the protagonists be able to make the right choice and regain freedom? The short was made as part of a social cinema project of participatory cinema with the School of Doing "G. Civita Franceschi”, under the supervision of Carlo Concina and Cristina Maurelli.
