Domenico Croce

Domenico was born in 1992. He studied engineering at La Sapienza University, in Rome. In 2014, he won the “Hobbit Fan Contest” with the short film “LA STRADA VA SEMPRE AVANTI. In 2017 he graduated in directing at the Experimental Cinematography Center in Rome. In 2019 he directed, with Stefano Malchiodi,the short film ANNE, screened at the Giffoni Film Festival (Parental Experience section). CRYSTAL GIRL is the first feature film he directed.

Director’s Statement

“Vetro is a story about the ability to cling to oneself when the affections around us are running low. For this reason I decided that the best point of view would be that of the protagonist’s "inner strength": as an invisible character sometimes allied, others distracted, who silently observes all her movements and often puts himself on the line for her.”
