Ma'ayan Rypp
American-Canadian-Israeli director and screenwriter, born and raised in Tel-Aviv. She graduated from the film department of TAU (Tel Aviv University). ANY LITTLE THING (2010), her first student short, was screened in numerous film festivals among which Raindance and Palm Springs. Her award winning graduation short film MARTHA MUST FLY (2011) premiered at Cannes Cinefondation, and won the “Most promising artist” award at the Women’s Film Festival in Israel. Her first feature THE OTHER WIDOW, currently in post-production, was developed during Cannes Festival Cinefondation Residence, and was produced with the support of the Israeli film fund, CNC (Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée) and Île de France.
