Mari Miyazawa
Graduated from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences of Tokyo University in 2014, she is a boxed lunch artist & an animated film director. With her boxed lunch she has made people happy since 2003. In 2012 she began to make animation with her original characters coming from boxed lunches. KONIGIRI-KUN, her animated film in which a rice ball acts as hero, was broadcasted on Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) for the first time in 2014.
Her animated films received many awards at film festivals, such as the Grand Prix of animation for preschool children at Ottawa International Animation Festival in 2018. She has also written numerous books, such as boxed lunch recipe books, picture books, and so on.
