Martin Miehe-Renard

Martin is a director and screenwriter for film and television. His career began in the 90s when he worked on television series such as ALLETIDERS NISSE (1995) ALLETIDERS JULEMAND (1997). Among the films he wrote and directed for cinema, there are two features of the successful family franchising MY SISTER’ KIDS: MY SISTER’S KIDS IN JUYLAND (2010), MY AFRICAN ADVENTURE (2013). BUSTER'S WORLD is his most recent work.

Director’s statement
“Buster Oregon Mortensen lives in a world that’s his own and nobody else’s!  Well, he also lives in the Copenhagen suburb of Brønshøj, together with his dad, mother and younger sister Ingeborg, plus a large number of other people, most of whom live on a slightly higher social level than Buster and his family.
But Buster can do magic tricks and nobody else can!  Actually, he doesn’t yet do it flawlessly but as Buster’s best friend Mr. Larsen, magic master emeritus, says: practice makes perfect. 
And you’re allowed to dream. So, with his healthy self-confidence there’s no limit to what you can do!  Whether it’s a trip to the south with his family or a kiss from the only one. There’s nothing Buster cannot achieve. And that’s what all of us can learn from!”
