Synopsis
Caterina is a nun next to the statement of profession. One day a man entrusts to her a newborn baby, abandoned in the park. Catherine leads him to the hospital but she worries about him and visits him often. Starting from the sweater in which the baby was wrapped, Catherine tries to find the child's mother. During the research she runs into Ernesto, a lonely man, with frequent mood and pressure swings, who at first thinks he can be the father of the child. Despite himself, Ernesto finds himself involved in the investigation of Catherine. The film won in 1999 with 5 David di Donatello: Best Film, Best Actress (Margherita Buy), Best Screenplay (Giuseppe Piccioni, Lucia Zei, Gualtiero Rosella), Best Editing (Esmeralda Calabria), Best Producer (Lionello Cerri).
Sinossi
Caterina è una suora prossima alla dichiarazione di professione perpetua. Un giorno un uomo le affida un neonato abbandonato nel parco. Caterina lo porta all'ospedale ma non riesce a non preoccuparsi per lui e a fargli visita spesso. Partendo dal maglione nel quale era avvolto, Caterina cerca di ritrovare la madre del bambino. Nel corso della ricerca si imbatte in Ernesto, un uomo solo con frequenti sbalzi di umore e pressione che in un primo momento pensa di essere il padre del bambino e che, suo malgrado, si ritrova coinvolto nell’inchiesta di Caterina. Il film nel 1999 vince ben cinque David di Donatello: miglior film, migliore attrice (Margherita Buy), migliore sceneggiatura (Giuseppe Piccioni, Lucia Zei, Gualtiero Rosella), miglior montaggio (Esmeralda Calabria), migliore produttore (Lionello Cerri).
