Oskar Santos

Born 1972, Bilbao (Spain). He studied Audiovisual Communication at the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2000 he made his debut short film, TOWER (TORRE). In 2002 he shot two episodes of the TV series URBAN MYTH CHILLERS (PETITS MYTHES URBAINS). In 2004 he directed his second short, THE DREAMER (EL SOÑADOR), and a feature-length documentary, A TRIP TO THE SEA INSIDE (UN VIAJE MAR ADENTRO), the making of Alejandro Amenábar’s feature THE SEA INSIDE (MAR ADENTRO), winner of the 2005 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In 2010 Santos made his first fiction feature film, FOR THE GOOD OF OTHERS (EL MAL AJENO), co-produced by Amenábar. ZIP & ZAP AND THE MARBLE GANG was screened at the Sundance Film Festival 2014 in the Sundance Kids section.
