The works for the building of the new Cinema Citadel  get on the way and the  "Festival Machine" gets bigger and bigger. Movie Days is a huge success and Shadow Line, at its third edition establishes itself more and more. There are more sections. With Preludes after a few years short films are in a competitive section again. Rear Window is a non competitive section for  youth aged rom 15 to 18. Over six hundred films, from all over the world, have reached the pre-selection stage this year.

Short film "Puppies for Sale" is at the Festival, starring Jack Lemmon and a young actor, Jesse James who will star in films such as "Pearl Harbor" and "The Butterfly Effect".

The theme of the Festival Angels and Demons is extremely charming and engaging as it relates to opposites like Black and White, Good and Evil, two extremes in eternal conflict in all walks of life, politics history and last but not least in cinematography. Lots of important names talk about it with the children and youth: PAOLO LIGUORI for the press, lawyer NINO MARAZZITA for justice, PAOLO CREPET for child psychology, CLAUDIO CECCHETTO and MAX PEZZALI for music, GIORGIO GORI for Tv business.

Unexpected fairy tellers at  Maison Lumière are: Giulio Andreotti, Alessandra Mussolini,  President of the Italian Republic Senate Nicola Mancino, and canale 5 anchorwoman CRISTINA PARODI.

JEAN-JACQUES ANNAUD, JACO VAN DORMAEL, GIOVANNI VERONESI, SERGIO RUBINI, FRANCESCA NERI, VALERIO MASTANDREA, NANCY BRILLI, CLAUDIA KOLL, VALERIA MARINI, CHIARA CASELLI, ALESSIA MARCUZZI are amongst the amazing guests at this annual.
