Synopsis
8 year old Martin is looking forward to participating in the lantern procession organised by the school that evening. Unfortunately, when he tries to light the candle, his lantern catches fire and burns up. Martin desperately tries to find a new one, and finally resorts to cooperating with his cheeky classmate Pia.

Susanne Buddenberg
Born 1969, Bünde (Germany). She studied Art and Design at Aachen University from 1992-1997. After this she went on to study Production Design at the “Konrad Wolf” Academy of Film and Television (HFF/B), graduating in 2001. She has directed the following short films: HANDLE WITH CARE (1998), HOMECOMING (2000), UNDERCOVER (2002).
