Leandro Castellani (Fano, 1 December 1935) is an Italian author director who works between TV, cinema and radio.
He was one of the main creators of the historical television survey and testimonial programs, for which he received numerous international awards, from the Golden Lion of Venice to the Marconi Prize, from the Montecarlo Prize to the Prix Italia, to the Chianciano Prize of Radio and Television Critics , at the Premio Fortino-Montefeltro (with Sergio Leone) etc .; the creator of Theater-Inquiry and numerous other formulas of TV cultural program.
Among the TV-inquiries he edited and produced, L'enigma Oppenheimer, the cycles of Thousand not more than one thousand (1979), The bomb before and after (1984), Nuremberg trial at the trial (1985), Le mille e un'Italia (1987 ).
