Synopsis
Yuko, a young girl who attends elementary V, lives with her mother and little brother Hiroshi. The father died when the child was small. The mother works in a government office and works all day, leaving the child responsible for the house and the little brother. Even on her birthday, the woman comes home in time to appreciate the dinner that her daughter has prepared as a gift. In the end, tired Yuko takes refuge with her brother from her grandmother in the country. The mother reaches them and explains to them how the sense of duty is fundamental in life, just as her husband taught her before she died. Yuko then decides to devote himself to study.
